Your test case scenario makes sense. I didn’t include in this story as the Postgresql’s performance was already poor at the basic level, therefore I kept it as simple as I can for basic queries. In the next story, I would run the same tests by optimizing Postgresql’s settings. As currently, all the settings were kept at default for both connections. If the performance improves upon fine-tuning Postgres then I 'll continue with the tests that you suggested and compare in more detail.
