Couldn't agree more. In Tokyo, there are a free companies, I don't want to name but M.. who once gave me an assignment of 1-2 days and got riled up when I provided them the solution by publishing the solution on Github. Plus no feedback ever. These days long assignment for the interview process are just waste of time and at times ethically wrong when they want to use a solution for their internal tools for free.
